Year-End Awards

NDPC Pony Year-End Awards

To be eligible for NDPC Pony Year-End Awards, a rider must compete in one or more 'pony only' classes in NDPC Partner Shows, or in the National Dressage Pony Cup Annual Show.

You do not have to be a NDPC Member to be eligible for Pony Year-End Awards; however, NDPC Members have ALL scores from ANY USDF sanctioned shows counted toward the awards rather than just NDPC Partner Show scores and NDPC Annual Show scores.

As a NDPC Member, you are also eligible for Member-Only Awards with Prize Money to the High Point Junior, Young Rider, Adult Amateur, and Open Rider.

NDPC Small Horse Year-End Awards

To be eligible for NDPC Small Horse Division Year-End Awards, each horse/rider combination must become members of the NDPC Small Horse Division and must have their NDPC Small Horse Measurement Form submitted to the NDPC by October 31.

ALL scores from ANY USDF sanctioned shows will be counted toward the awards. As a NDPC Member, you are also eligible for Member-Only Awards with Prize Money to the High Point Junior, Young Rider, Adult Amateur, and Open Rider.

General Year-End Award Information

Year-End Awards will be given as shown in the chart below.

There is no minimum or maximum number of scores required to be eligible. All scores from any USDF sanctioned show will count toward Year-End Awards if you are a member. For non-member ponies, only scores from registered NDPC Partner Shows will be counted. Horses and ponies may compete at more than one level with the same rider, as long as the levels are consecutive.

Scores will have a degree of difficulty figured in per test and then will be averaged. Adult Amateur, Open, Junior, and Young Rider divisions will be awarded at all levels. Our show year is November 1 - October 31.
